Quotable Qotes

Konkani is an Aryan language, inflexible and non-Dravidian. It resembles much the balabhasha. It is less distant from Sanskrit in grammatical organisation’s and vocabulary than Marathi. It is not a dialect or corruption of Marathi. It is more close to the old Marathi which is closer to balabhasha than the modern. It is more close in phonetic structure to the Gauriyan languages from the North mostly Bengali. It represents most probably the Saraswathi language that the orientations take as extinct.
